Although founded as a Minnesota-based organization, CALS now delivers its services through a national center and a growing network of state affiliates.
States such as Wisconsin and Montana have each adopted the CALS curriculum, trained their own instructors and established their own class schedules. This local delivery model will allow the national CALS organization to develop its curriculum, license its intellectual property to affiliates and broaden its reach nationally and globally.
Until this model gets more widely established, CALS will continue to deliver its programs directly in states without an affiliate program in place.
State emergency health organizations interested in becoming a CALS affiliate should contact Paul Lakeman, CALS Executive Director, at email@example.com.
